The $40 junkyard headers that almost torched my garage

Picked up a set of used headers from a Pick-n-Pull for $40 and spent last Saturday swapping them onto my 95 Civic. The bolts came out fine, but I never thought to check the O2 sensor wire routing before firing it up. Two minutes in, the wire touched the pipe, melted, and I had smoke pouring out of the hood. Learned the hard way that zip ties and heat wrap are not optional when you're on a budget, they're the difference between a good deal and a fire extinguisher moment. Has anyone else had a junkyard part bite them because of a tiny detail like that?

$40 saved, but now you know. Worth every penny for that lesson.
