Hot take: the guy who got run off a cooking forum in 2021 for a chili recipe wasn't wrong
So back in 2021 this guy on a cooking board in Ohio posted a chili recipe with beans in it and got dragged for like 300 comments. People dug up his old posts, called his employer, and he deleted everything within a week. I went back and read the whole thread two days ago and half the people yelling had never even made chili. Turns out he was a line cook in Cincinnati and the recipe was just a family thing. Did he deserve that level of heat for beans, or was the pile on just people wanting a target?
