Debate: did that TikTok baker deserve the hate after the sourdough cinnamon roll video?
I saw this bakery owner named Sarah from Austin get absolutely roasted last month for a video where she used a stand mixer to mix her sourdough starter. Half the comments said she was ruining traditional bread making. The other half said people need to chill and gatekeeping is worse. Did she actually do something wrong or was it just food snobs being loud? What do you think?

The whole thing seems like peak internet overreaction (shocking, I know). Using a mixer isn't some crime against baking, it's just using a tool to get the same job done.
