Tried an inflatable pad vs a foam pad on a 4 day trip in the Smokies
I used my usual $50 inflatable pad for the first two nights and woke up every morning with a flat spot under my hips. Switched to a cheap foam pad I borrowed from a buddy and slept way better, even on rocky ground. Has anyone else found foam pads more reliable for longer trips, or did I just get a bad inflatable?
