My old two burner stove finally died, replaced it with a $45 single burner

I had that big Coleman two burner for about 15 years, it survived three moves and countless rainy trips. Last weekend the regulator started hissing and the flame just wouldn't hold steady, so I tossed it. Picked up a cheap single burner at a surplus store in Boise for 45 bucks, figured I'd hate it. Thing boils water faster than the old one ever did on a windy day, and it's half the size in the trunk. Makes me wonder how much other gear I've been hauling around out of habit instead of need. Anyone else replaced something big with something smaller and been surprised?

Sell it and don't look back. I did the same thing with my big lantern, swapped it for a tiny LED one and never missed the old one. It's crazy how much weight we carry just because we always have. Half the gear I own only gets used once a year anyway. If it works better and takes less space, that's a win.
