That job in a 1920s apartment building near Pittsburgh made me ditch my impact driver for a hand ratchet forever
The studs were so hard that my impact just cammed out every screw, and the super watched me struggle for 20 minutes before handing me a rusty hand ratchet that worked perfectly, has anyone else run into old buildings where you just have to slow way down?

Holler at @lane.joel but yeah, old buildings are just built different... gotta ditch the power tools sometimes.

Wait, are we talking about a hand ratchet or a Yankee screwdriver? A rusty hand ratchet wouldn't help with cam-outs unless you were using screws that needed a socket.
