Swapping coax ends used to take me 5 minutes, now it's 30 seconds flat
Honestly, for years I'd strip coax cable with a knife and fumble with compression fittings. Then a guy in Ohio showed me this $12 prep tool that strips and corks in one go, and it changed everything. I picked one up last Tuesday and ran 40 terminations without a single bad pull. Has anyone else used one of those all-in-one strippers, or do you still stick to the old way?

Are we really acting like stripping coax is some life changing skill? I've been doing it with a knife for fifteen years and it never took more than a minute. maybe two if I was being sloppy. This whole thing feels like a solution to a problem that barely existed. Like sure, if you're cranking out hundreds of terminations a week then yeah get a tool. But for a normal person doing a few runs a year it's just not that deep. I'd rather save the twelve bucks and spend it on beer.

Had a buddy nick the hell out of his cable once with a knife, signal went to crap.
