Hot take: I stopped stapling coax to the stud and started using screw clips, and I can't tell if it's faster or just cleaner
Used to burn through a box of staples a day, now I'm at 2 boxes of clips a week and my drop count on service calls is way lower, so which one are you all running in 2024?

Switched to screw clips about two years ago and never looked back. Takes a bit longer per run but you're not guessing where the stud is and you won't crush the cable, which is probably why your drops went down. I still keep staples in the bag for tight spots but clips are the daily driver now.
