Saw a custom cabinet shop in Nashville that blew my mind

Stopped by a little place in East Nashville called Wood & Oak last weekend while visiting my cousin. The guy there was doing curved cabinet doors for a kitchen remodel, and he showed me how he built a jig to route the panels consistently. I never thought about making my own curved doors, but now I really want to try it. Has anyone here built a jig for something like that?

Have you looked into how he handled the grain direction on those curved panels? I've seen where people cut their panels out of a single wide board, but the grain runs straight while the door curves, and it can look a little odd... I wonder if he was doing bent lamination or just routing them out of thick stock... I'd be worried about the strength if you go too thin on a curved door...

Funny how the same grain issue pops up in wood floors and furniture too, it's everywhere once you notice.
