My old biscuit joiner finally gave out halfway through a big built-in project last Thursday.

Reminds me of the time my belt sander threw the belt right when I was sanding down a walnut table... the thing caught fire a little, had to stomp it out with my boot. Didn't feel like buying a new one that day, so I just left the project sitting in the garage for two months. Wife was real happy about that.

Ugh, that's the worst timing. Did you have to run out and buy a new one right then, or could you switch to a different part of the project? My old sander died right when I was trying to finish a tabletop last year.
