Hit 5,000 cabinet doors and it finally hit me different
I was counting up my jobs from the last 15 years for an insurance thing and realized I've built over 5,000 doors. That number surprised me because I still remember my first batch of 12 shaker doors back in 2009, took me two whole days in a garage in Toledo. Now I can knock out 30 in an afternoon with better setup and tools, but honestly the craft feels more about the hinges and reveals than the speed. Has anyone else kept a running count of their doors or drawers, and what number made you stop and think?
