Am I the only one who thought pocket screws were cheating until a 78-year-old in Baltimore showed me his face frames?
I figured glue and dowels were the only honest way to build a cabinet for 6 years, then he told me he switched in 1998 and none of his kitchens have come apart yet, so now I keep a Kreg jig on the bench and I want to know what old habits the rest of you gave up on.
