Warehouse outlet store in Tucson had 40 year old cast iron pans in the discount bin

I went to this dusty surplus place off I-10 looking for cheap shelving and spotted a stack of crusty cast iron skillets marked $8 each, but they had that smooth vintage surface you cant get on new ones, so I grabbed three and want to know if anyone else has luck restoring old ones with just a vinegar soak and a few rounds of seasoning.
