Walked into a hardware store in rural Montana and couldn't find a single cast iron skillet
I stopped at this little store outside of Butte last weekend, thinking they'd have simple, rugged stuff. Instead, everything was non-stick coated and looked like it would flake off in six months. The guy at the counter told me people just buy cheap pans online now and toss them. Has anyone else noticed how hard it is to find basic cast iron in smaller shops anymore?

Oh man, I had to drive forty miles just to find a good cast iron one last year.
