I mocked the $90 boot dryer my wife bought, now it's the MVP of our mudroom

Last November I laughed when she brought home that PEET dryer after we slipped on wet insoles three times that week, but after dragging it out for a rainy week in Portland my feet finally stayed warm for the whole shift. Turns out drying boots from the inside actually kills the smell and the stiffness, and now I won't lend it to my buddy because he'd never give it back. Anyone else find a gadget they swore was useless become a daily keeper?
