The day a customer pointed out my stitch pattern was backwards after 30 years

I was trimming a brisket flat last Tuesday when this older fella asked why my seams ran the wrong way for hanging, and it hit me that every roast I'd tied since my first shop in Cleveland had been done that way, so has anyone else had a routine habit exposed by a total stranger?
