Sliced my hand open on a band saw 20 minutes into a Saturday rush

I was breaking down a pork shoulder at the shop on Broadway and the blade grabbed the skin on my index finger, blood everywhere before I even felt it. My coworker wrapped it tight while I called the owner, and I finished my shift one-handed doing trim work with my left hand, which was honestly slower but kept the line moving. Anyone else have a close call that made you slow down and change how you hold your cuts?
