A health inspector in Cleveland looked at my grinder and asked one question that made me change my whole cleaning routine
Last month a inspector walked through my shop on W 25th and spent maybe 10 seconds at my grinder before asking when I last pulled the auger out. When I admitted it had been a couple weeks, he just pointed at the pink slime packed behind the plate and did not say another word. I had been wiping down the visible parts with a rag and calling that clean for 6 years, and honestly nobody had ever pushed back on it. Now I break the whole thing down every night, which adds about 20 minutes to close but the smell in the case is different. Anybody got a quick way to get that plate off without fighting it, or do you just deal with the struggle too?
Wow, an inspector asking one question and suddenly six years of doing it your way was wrong? Sounds like he just wanted to justify his paycheck, pink slime or not.
