That week I tried to fix my washing machine and flooded the kitchen twice

First time I forgot to tighten the drain hose clamp, water everywhere. Second time I cross-threaded the inlet valve and it sprayed like a fountain. Ended up calling a pro who fixed it in 10 minutes for $85. Anyone else have a repair that cost them more in mistakes than the original problem?

Oh boy, you really went all in on that home repair disaster. I tried swapping out a faucet once and ended up with a pipe wrench to the face and a flooded bathroom, so I feel your pain. At least your pro was cheap, mine cost me $200 and a bruised ego. Sometimes it's better to just hand over the cash from the start.
