Found out I was torquing my lug nuts way too tight for like 2 years
A guy at the tire shop asked what I set my wrench to and when I said 150 he just stared at me and said my Ford wants 100. No wonder my rotors were warping every 8 months on my commute to Bakersfield. Anyone else been overtorquing without knowing?

Man, 150 is wild but honestly the tire shop guys act like 100 is gospel when half the time they're just reading off a chart. Ford changed their spec on some trucks and crossovers over the years and nobody at the counter bothers to check your actual door jamb sticker.
