Warning: My 'free' walking tour in Prague cost me way more than I thought
I did one of those 'pay what you want' tours, tipped the guide 200 CZK, and then realized the company had already charged my card 15 euros for a 'booking fee' I missed in the tiny print. I felt like a total sucker for paying twice. What's the best way to actually check for these hidden fees before you book an activity?

Ugh, does reading the full terms and conditions count as an activity itself? I swear I need a second cup of coffee just to spot that tiny print. I once booked a 'free' museum entry that had a 'processing fee' bigger than a regular ticket. Now I just assume the final price is whatever shows up right before I have to type in my card number. That's the only number I trust anymore.

Always check the full booking page for small print fees before you click pay.

Absolutely! Those extra fees can double the price at checkout. It's crazy how they hide them.
