The $4 train trick I stumbled on in Chicago, total game changer

I used to pay $15 parking downtown every weekend until I found out the Metra weekend pass is only $10 and the bus from the station is $2.25 each way. Last Sunday I took the train in from Oak Park and saved nearly half, plus no traffic stress. Anyone else got a cheap transit hack for city trips?

Saving six bucks isnt exactly a game changer, lots of stuff costs less if you plan it out. Metra weekend pass is decent but the bus from the station adds time and hassle, plus you gotta line up the schedules or youre stuck waiting. If your time is worth anything, that 45 minutes extra each way probably eats up the savings. Also parking isnt $15 everywhere downtown, garage deals and early bird rates drop it to $10 or less on weekends. So congrats on the discount, but calling it a huge win feels like a stretch.
