Spent 4 hours looking for a cheap hostel in Prague when booking.com had it in 15 minutes
I was in Berlin last month and needed to find a place in Prague for 3 nights under $40 total. I spent way too long manually checking each hostel website one by one. After 4 hours I had a list of maybe 5 options with shaky availability. Then I gave up and just used booking.com filters, found a solid place for $38 in 15 minutes. Anyone else waste time trying to avoid booking fees only to end up using the sites anyway?

Maybe it's just me but I actually enjoy the manual hunting sometimes.

For real though, there's something almost relaxing about it. No guides or gps, just you and the land trying to figure things out. It makes the whole hunt feel way more earned when you finally spot something.
