Six months of booking flights on Tuesdays and it made zero difference

I used to swear by the Tuesday booking hack for cheap flights until I tracked my actual fares over half a year. Compared eight bookings and the prices were the same or higher than random weekdays. Has anyone else tested this myth and found it's just noise?

Nah, I've saved REAL money booking on Tuesdays, your sample must be too small.

@jana_price you said "saved REAL money" so what kind of deals are we talking exactly? I only ask because I've tested Tuesdays for months at different airlines and haven't seen much difference in pricing. Would be interested to know which booking sites or airlines you've had the best luck with.
