Saw a hostel in Prague charge 60 euros for a private room and 12 to share, and I can't decide if the splurge is worth it
Stayed four nights at a place near the old town square last fall and noticed the price gap between the dorm and the private room was wider than I expected. The dorm was 12 euros a night with six bunk beds and one shared bathroom, while the private room ran about 60 euros. I took the dorm and slept fine, but a couple I met there said they paid the extra because they were tired after a long train ride. My view is that the dorm saves you enough for three real meals a day, but others swear the sleep is worth every euro. Where do you all draw the line on paying more for a door that closes?
