Fell for that $49 'lifetime flight deal' from a sketchy site back in 2019
I tossed $49 at some website claiming to offer unlimited standby flights for life, thinking I'd finally travel cheap. Turns out the airlines never actually honored those bookings, and I just threw my cash into a black hole with zero trips to show for it. Anybody else get burned by one of those too-good-to-be-true travel subscription things?

Guess you paid $49 for a lesson in wishful thinking instead.

Wait, you're telling me somebody actually paid $49 for a dating class based on a red flag list? That sounds like something you'd see in a parody video, not real life. I'm genuinely shocked anyone would shell out that kind of cash for something that screams "steer clear" from the first sentence. Did they promise to teach you how to spot a decoy profile or something? Honestly, I'd want my money back just for the audacity of charging that much for common sense.
