Shelled out $30 for a fancy spiralizer and it broke on the first carrot.
The plastic gear stripped halfway through making zucchini noodles, so now I'm back to just chopping veggies with a knife like a normal person. Anyone else have a kitchen gadget that gave up after one use?

And then there's my garlic press that bent on the second clove (which is funny because it was supposedly "heavy duty"). I guess "heavy duty" just meant the box was sturdy enough to survive shipping. Now I just smash garlic with the flat side of my knife like a caveman, and honestly it works better anyway.

My old mandoline slicer fell apart on the third sweet potato. The blade guard snapped right off and I nearly took a chunk out of my finger. Idk why these things are made so cheap when they cost $25 or $30. I feel your pain on that spiralizer, sometimes the old knife method really is the way to go.
