Bought a fancy meal prep kit and ended up tossing $45 worth of food

I saw an ad for a gourmet meal prep delivery and thought it'd save time. Paid $45 for a week's worth of ingredients, but the recipes were super complicated and took over an hour each. After day three I was eating cereal instead, and half the veggies went bad in the fridge. The packaging was crazy too, like layers of plastic and ice packs. Has anyone else fallen for one of those boxes and regretted it?

Oh man, that's exactly what happened to me with that popular green box delivery. I spent an hour chopping things for a sauce that ended up tasting like salty paste, and the leftover ingredients just sat in my fridge mocking me. At least you got three days in, I gave up after one meal and ordered pizza while my expensive asparagus went all slimy.
