Watched my laptop go from 45°C idle to 80°C under load in 10 days

I cleaned the vents with canned air two weeks ago and everything ran cool, but last Tuesday it started throttling during Zoom calls. Took the back panel off and found a thin felt-like mat of dust packed right against the fan intake, probably because I work near my cat's litter box in the garage. Has anyone else had dust build up that fast, or is my setup just a lost cause?
