Just hit repair number 50 on laptops, never expected to get here

I started fixing my own broken laptops in the garage last March, and yesterday I finished my 50th one, a Dell with a cracked hinge. That number surprised me because every repair taught me something new, mostly about how cheap ribbon cables can fail. Has anyone else kept a count and hit a milestone that made them realize they were way deeper into this hobby than they thought?

Fifty laptops is wild, but the cracked hinge thing hit me. Last year I tried to fix my car's window motor and ended up with a full dashboard teardown and three extra screws that I just hid in the glovebox. Then I found out the motor was fine, the switch was just dirty. Now I keep a jar of stray screws labeled "mystery parts" and it has like twelve different sizes in it, none of which match anything I currently own. Do you ever end up with leftover parts that you're convinced were never needed in the first place?
