Cracked my 500th phone screen repair without a single broken digitizer

I hit 500 phone screen repairs last Thursday on a beat-up iPhone 8 from a customer in Portland. It surprised me because I used to break at least one out of every five digitizers when I started three years ago. Now I can do most models blindfolded and the numbers just piled up. Has anyone else kept count of their repair totals over the years?

Kept a tally on my workshop whiteboard since day one, 487 repairs before I switched to a digital counter. It does get addictive watching that number climb, especially when you stop breaking parts.

Switching to digital was a game changer for me too. Had a wipeable board in the garage for about 300 marks, then got tired of accidentally erasing the total. Moved to a cheap tally counter app on my phone and just tap it after every job. Seeing 800+ now is way more motivating than that old smudged board. The best part is not having to recount when someone bumps the board.
