Why does nobody talk about the $9 overdraft fee that turned into a $340 hole
My sister works at a bank in Dayton and she kept telling me to turn off debit card overdraft on my account. I brushed it off for 8 months because I figured a $9 fee here and there was no big deal. Then I added up my statements and those little fees plus the extra charges piled up to $340. I finally logged into the app and flipped the setting off in about two minutes. Has anyone else actually done this, and did your bank give you a hard time about it?
