Vent: blew $140 on a "wealth building" course from a guy in a rented Lambo, and I still can't decide if I'm the idiot or he is
Quick backstory. Back in January I paid $140 for an online course called something like Cash Flow Blueprint. The guy running it films himself in a Lambo he rents by the hour, I found that out later. Forty videos of him saying "buy assets" and "cut the coffee." That was it. No spreadsheet, no real numbers, nothing I didn't already know from a free library book.
Here's the part I keep going back and forth on. One side of me says yeah, I'm the sucker, I paid for motivation I could've got for zero dollars from a podcast. Own it and move on. The other side says the $140 was tuition. It taught me to spot a fake guru fast, and I've since walked away from two other pitches that smelled the same. So maybe it was the cheapest lesson I'll ever get.
I'm honestly split. Has anyone here paid for something like this and felt like it was worth it, or is it always a waste? I want the real answer, not the nice one.
