My grocery bill dropped from $680 to $410 a month and I didn't change what I eat
Six months ago I started going to the Aldi on State Street instead of the big chain store near my apartment, same list, same meals, nothing cut out. The gap came from store brands and the fact that they don't have 14 kinds of the same thing staring at me. Curious if anyone else has a store that quietly saves them a couple hundred bucks a month without any coupon games?
Switched to Aldi last year and my bill went from around $600 to $380 for the same stuff. The store brands taste the same and half the time they are made by the same company anyway. Having fewer choices kills the impulse buys too.
