My $80 car repair turned into a 3 week nightmare just because of one sensor
I tried to replace an O2 sensor on my 2012 Corolla myself to save shop labor, but the old one was completely rusted in place and took me 6 hours with a torch just to get it out. Then the replacement part from AutoZone was the wrong thread size, so I had to wait 10 days for the right one to ship. Has anyone else dealt with a simple fix blowing up their whole weekend schedule like this?

Three weeks for a Corolla sensor? Sounds dramatic.

Laughing at your pain but only because I've been there. That one little sensor that's supposed to be a five minute job turns into you questioning your entire life choices while you're cussing at a rusted bolt with a torch. AutoZone playing roulette with thread sizes is just the cherry on top. Honestly, the universe has a sick sense of humor when it comes to "simple" car fixes. Hope you're finally back on the road and not just staring at your driveway like it owes you money.
