Found out my bank charges $35 overdraft fees on purchases under $5, and I did the math on last year
I was going through my statements from 2024 after my card got hit with two $35 fees for a $2.17 coffee and a $4.89 burrito, and I couldn't believe the bank lets small charges trigger the same fee as big ones. That added up to $420 in fees last year just from little stuff I could've covered with cash, and I had no idea until I sat down with a highlighter. Has anyone successfully gotten their bank to reverse these, or did you just switch to a credit union and call it a day?
