Chasing a $120 bank error for 4 months nearly broke my budget system
Back in March my bank flagged a deposit as fraud and reversed it, but the money was already spent on rent. I call support about 6 times, each person said the case was elevated, then nothing for weeks. Finally I filed a complaint with the CFPB and got the cash in my account within 9 days. Has anyone else had to use that route to get a bank to fix their own mistake?
