Appreciation post: The year I stopped paying for coffee every morning

I used to spend $4.50 at the drive thru near my office every single day. That added up to over $1,000 a year just on coffee. I switched to making it at home with a $20 drip machine and now I save about $85 a month. It took me a full year to realize that small habit was eating my budget. Anyone else find a daily expense that just silently drained their wallet?

Bro you ever just add up what you spend on bottled water? I was buying a 24 pack every week for like $6 and it came out to over $300 a year. Finally got a Brita filter for like $25 and now I fill up the same reusable bottle I got for free from a job fair. That and my $15 french press from Target totally changed my morning routine. It's wild how you don't notice the small stuff until you actually look at the numbers.
