DAE have one of those weeks where every course lines up right?
Last week I laid 900 block on a school addition in Peoria and every course came out dead level without me fighting it once. My string line stayed true, my corners were square on the first try, and the mortar was buttering perfect even in that 90 degree heat. Then Monday I could not set a straight lead to save my life, knocked a whole corner down twice. What is the one thing you check first when your work starts going sideways, level or your string?
