Can we talk about how smacking the brick with the trowel handle tells you if it's fired right?
Grabbed a pallet of cheap bricks in Houston last month and the yard guy showed me how a solid ring means good clay while a dull thud means it'll spall in a freeze, so now I tap every single one before it goes on the wall, anyone else do this or am I just driving my crew nuts?
