The one comment about my drill press table that stuck with me

Last month I posted a pic of my setup and a guy said my fence was too close to the bit, and he was right, I kept getting tear out on the back edge of my cuts. I moved it back about 3 inches and now I get way cleaner holes without measuring twice. Has anyone else had a random online comment change their whole method?
