The great zucchini escape from my vegetable patch
I planted a zucchini last spring, thinking it would be a nice addition to my garden. It started growing like crazy, and before I knew it, the vines were creeping into my neighbor's yard. One morning, I found a zucchini that had grown so big it lifted the fence slightly. It was absurd, like something from a cartoon. But here's the small win: my neighbor thought it was hilarious and we ended up sharing the harvest. We had so much zucchini we gave some to everyone on the block. Now, we have a new tradition of swapping garden goods. It turned a potential nuisance into a community builder.

No way, that's awesome! What did your neighbor give you in return when you started swapping?

Wait, you're asking what he gave in return? Lol, that's the wild part. I was just as surprised when he handed over a whole batch of homemade salsa. Like, who does that? But it was actually really good. We've been swapping stuff for months now, and it's always something random. Makes me wonder what I'll get next time, haha.
