Saw a rare corpse flower bloom at the Denver Botanic Gardens last week

I was totally skeptical about corpse flowers before, thought it was just some overhyped plant thing. But I saw one at a botanical garden in Atlanta last year and it completely changed my mind. The smell wasn't as bad as I expected, more like a dumpster behind a fish market than something unbearable. What got me was how massive it is and how the whole thing only lasts a couple days. Standing there watching people gag and take selfies at the same time was honestly fascinating. I get the hype now, it's like nature's weird flex.
