Read a book that said talking to plants is a proven help, but I'm not buying it.

Found a study in 'The Botanical Review' claiming plants grow 20% faster with regular human speech. I kept a basil plant in my truck cab for a month, talked to it daily, and saw zero difference from my quiet one at home. Has anyone else actually tested this and gotten real results?

My basil grew faster when I played the radio for it.

Yeah, the radio thing makes sense. It's probably the carbon dioxide from you being in the cab, not the words. Plants just need the CO2 you breathe out. Try just sitting quietly with it for a few minutes a day, same effect without feeling silly.
