Appreciation post: I thought my pothos was dead after 3 days in the dark, turns out I was wrong
Last week I moved my pothos into a closet for 3 days while I painted my living room in Denver, and when I pulled it out the leaves were limp and pale, so I almost tossed it. I told a guy at my local nursery on 6th what happened and he said 3 days of no light won't kill a pothos, it was probably just stressed from the move. I put it back by the window and gave it a normal drink, and by day 5 it was standing back up like nothing happened. Now I'm wondering how many plants I've thrown out over the years that just needed a few days to bounce back. Has anyone else saved a plant they thought was a goner, and what did you actually do to bring it back?
