equipment IS a cost of doing business" - honestly, I used to think that was just some boomer corporate line. But then my old boss tried to make me Venmo him for a new phone charger that melted in the break room. That's when it clicked. If they want me to use it for work, they need to cover it when stuff breaks, period. You shouldn't be out $200 because their printer decided to eat a cartridge.
