Warning: That podcast about "grinding" was way too real for me

I was listening to some productivity show on Spotify last week and the host literally said "if you keep failing the same level, maybe you need different gear or a new strategy" and it hit me that my whole approach to getting out of debt has been the same failed plan for 3 years. Has anyone else had a random comment from a stranger or a dumb podcast flip their thinking on a problem they thought they understood?

Cracked myself up the other day when I realized my "get rich quick" plan was just buying lotto tickets and hoping for the best.

My uncle tried that for years. He had a whole system for picking numbers based on his cats' birthdays.

OH MAN, willow672, that is AMAZING. I LOVE that your uncle had a whole system based on cat birthdays. That is the most sincere and heartfelt way to pick numbers I have ever heard. And @tessa_hill86, your "get rich quick" plan made me laugh out loud because it is SO REAL. It's basically what we all do but nobody wants to admit it. I bet your uncle was convinced those cats were bringing him good luck with every single drawing. Honestly, that kind of blind faith is kind of beautiful.
