Unpopular opinion: I thought tracking my calories was a waste of time, then one week in March flipped me
For 2 years I kept starting and quitting diets because I refused to log food, I figured it was busywork. Then the week of March 10th I wrote down every single thing I ate, and by Friday I saw I was drinking about 600 calories a day in sweet tea alone, which I never would have guessed. I always failed at losing weight, and that one week showed me the problem was never willpower, it was that I had no clue what I was really eating. How do you all handle tracking without it turning into a chore you quit after 10 days?
