Showerthought: my resume kept getting auto rejected until a recruiter in Austin told me one thing
I sent out 140 applications over 5 months and got 3 callbacks, so I finally paid a recruiter $60 to look at my resume and she pointed at the file name, which was still "resume draft FINAL v2.docx". She said half the tracking systems auto dump files with the word draft in them before a human ever sees it, and I had been doing that for 5 jobs in a row. Has anyone else found out their problem was some tiny dumb thing like this?
