Question about the advice my uncle gave me at 19 about saving, and whether it held up for you
He told me to put 10% of every check in a coffee can under the sink before I paid any bill, and 6 months later that can had $1,100 in it and covered my car repair in Spokane. Now that I'm older I wonder if the coffee can trick still works when everything comes out of a phone, so what did an older relative tell you that turned out right or dead wrong?
